Extremis

Since 1994, Extremis has followed its own path. Not starting from form, but from how people live, meet and interact. What began with a simple question, how can we improve the way people spend time together, still drives every design today.

Founded by Dirk Wynants, interior designer and son of a carpenter, Extremis grew from a deep understanding of materials, use and human behaviour. Not to create more furniture, but to create better situations.

Each product is designed with a clear purpose: to reduce friction, support interaction and make outdoor and indoor spaces more intuitive to use. Multifunctionality and durability are not features, but starting points.

Because what matters is not the object itself, but what it enables between people. Extremis designs for long-term use, in meaning, in function and in time. Products that earn their place, age with grace, and remain relevant beyond trends.
