HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE STYLE OF PRINCEN?

PRINCEN stands for a timeless, refined and considered approach to architecture and interior design. We combine warm, natural materials with clean lines and calm colour palettes to create a cohesive whole. Each project is designed to feel balanced and understated, with a strong focus on functionality, aesthetics and material experience.

WHERE DO YOU FIND MATERIAL INSPIRATION?

Our inspiration comes from a range of sources: international fairs, manufacturers working with innovative materials, architectural projects, art, nature and our own experience in practice. We keep a close eye on new developments and techniques, but always choose materials that are durable, high-quality and full of character.

HOW DO YOU GUIDE CLIENTS IN MAKING THE RIGHT MATERIAL CHOICES?

We always start by listening carefully to the client’s wishes, lifestyle and aesthetic preferences. From there, we look at which materials best suit both the use and the atmosphere we want to create. We present combinations, moodboards and texture samples so clients can truly see and feel the impact of each choice.

HOW DOES THE HUB FIT INTO THIS PROCESS?

The Hub plays an important role in our material selection. For us, it’s like a candy store. Clients can experience materials physically, place them side by side and compare them directly. It allows us to test combinations, gather inspiration and make decisions with confidence. In that sense, it becomes a tangible translation of the design concept.

WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT FAVOURITE MATERIAL, AND WHY?

At the moment, we’re drawn to the combination of natural stone, such as Breccia Rosa, with inox. Natural stone brings warmth, softness and a sense of timeless elegance, while inox adds a subtle refinement and a contemporary sheen. Together, they create a balanced contrast between craftsmanship and modern precision, which aligns closely with our design approach.
