Rethinking the boundaries between living, working and hospitality, as the lines between these worlds are fading around us.
Hospitality spaces are designed to feel like home, homes are furnished with materials once reserved for hotels or offices, and workplaces borrow the comfort and character of hospitality design. In this masterclass, together with art director and designer Serge Haelterman we'll explore how these boundaries are shifting, and what that means for the materials, details and design choices architects make today.
During Serge's time as art director at Creneau, Serge worked on several projects that captured exactly this shift. Interior, branding and concept development all come together in his work, each project starting with the same question: how a strong idea takes shape in space. Today, he runs his own practice and is building new studio together with interior designer Evita Appendin. Through examples from his own work, he will share his vision on where these worlds are heading.
